Storyline Venom: Let There Be Carnage
We quote the storyline of this film from wikipedia, the following is the storyline of this film:
Story begins In 1996, young Cletus Kasady watched helplessly as his love, Frances Barrison, who had voice manipulation abilities, was taken away from St. Estes for Unwanted Children to the Ravencroft Institute. On the way, he uses the power of his sonic scream to escape and attacks young police officer Patrick Mulligan. He shot Barrison in the eye and suffered a wound to his ear from his screams. Unbeknownst to Mulligan, who believes he killed him, Barrison is taken to the facility, which is hardened against his powers.
In the present day, Mulligan, now a detective, contacts Eddie Brock to speak to Kasady, a serial killer who refuses to speak to anyone but Brock after their interview a year earlier. [N 1] After the visit, Venom, Eddie's symbiote, is able to find out where Kasady hid the victim's body, which gives Brock a major career boost. Brock was then contacted by his ex-fiancé Anne Weying, who told him he was now engaged to Dr. And Lewis, much to Venom's displeasure.
Kasady, who was found guilty of his crimes and previously sentenced to death by lethal injection, invites Brock to San Quentin State Prison, where Kasady is being held on death row, to attend his execution. However, Venom is provoked to attack Kasady through insulting Brock. Kasady bit Brock's hand, swallowing a small portion of the symbiote. Back home, Venom, wanting more freedom to eat the villain, argues with Brock, and the two end up fighting until the symbiote detaches from his body; they took different paths.
Kasady's execution failed when a red symbiote appeared and blocked the injection. He introduces himself as Carnage and rampages viciously through the prison, freeing inmates and killing guards. Kasady and Carnage then make a deal: Carnage will help Kasady get Barrison out of Ravencroft, and Kasady will help him eliminate Brock and Venom. Mulligan visits Brock at home and warns him of the situation. At Ravencroft, Kasady frees Barrison, and they go to their old children's house to set him on fire.
Mulligan, suspicious of Brock because of his interactions with Kasady before Carnage showed up, takes Brock to the police station. Brock refused to answer Mulligan's questions and contacted Weying as his attorney. Brock reveals that Venom has separated from him and needs a symbiote to fight Carnage together. As Venom passes through San Francisco jumping from body to body, Weying finds him and convinces him to forgive Brock. He bonds with Venom and destroys Brock from the police station. Brock and Venom make amends and bond again.
Kasady holds Mulligan hostage, and Barrison captures Weying after failing to find Brock. Barrison gives Lewis information about Weying's whereabouts, and he gives it to Brock. Kasady and Barrison plan to get married in a cathedral, where Venom appears and fights Carnage. Barrison apparently killed Mulligan by hanging him from chains. Venom fights the spawn, but he ends up being brutally defeated by Carnage, and the latter decides to kill Weying atop the cathedral. Venom manages to save Weying in time and provokes Barrison to use his powers again; Its sonic boom causes both symbiotes to separate from their hosts as the cathedral collapses and the falling bell kills Barrison.
Venom saves Brock by tying him up before the impact. Carnage tries to bond with Kasady again, but Venom devours the symbiote. Kasady states that he just wants to be Brock's friend, but Venom bites Kasady's head. As Brock, Venom, Weying, and Lewis fled, Mulligan's surviving eyes flashed blue. Brock and Venom, now at large, decide to take a vacation while contemplating their next move. In a mid-credits scene, Venom informs Brock of the symbiote's knowledge of another universe, a blinding light carrying them from their hotel room to another where they witness J. Jonah Jameson revealing Spider-Man's identity as Peter Parker on television.
