The Excitement of Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage Featuring Action and Comedy

Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage has been released, the film that many movie fans have been waiting for. With revenues of more than 850 million dollars, Venom is a film to strive for. The good news is that Director Andy Serkis seems to know what to do if Venom 2 can be so entertaining. And in the film Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage, the director presents an action story flavored with comedy that usually makes us laugh a little and entertained watching it. It's a far cry from the first film, which is so serious and has lots of cruel action in it.

The story of Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage itself is actually very simple. After the events of the first film, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is forced to live alone with Venom. In this film Venom is very funny where he is angry with Eddie Brock for not allowing Venom to eat humans. Because the human brain is indeed the main nutritional intake for Venom. But Brock instead replaced the human brain with chicken and chocolate. What a funny incident where the notorious monster had to let him eat chocolate and chicken.

Then one day Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson, whose character has also been discussed a bit at the end of the first film) asks Brock to come over to tell his story. Brock himself didn't really know why Kasady had asked him to come. Kasady himself admitted that he felt "relate" to Brock. But maybe he had another mission. Like giving secret information to his girlfriend who is still in custody, Franches Barrison aka Shriek (Naomie Harris).

In the midst of his heartbreak with Anne (Michelle Williams) who turns out to be married now, Brock visits Kasady who is about to be executed. In his last encounter, Kasady bit Brock which of course earned him Venom saris. Thus was born Carnage, the "son" of Venom who is ready to destroy anyone in front of him.

The story in the movie Venom 2 Carnage přichází 2021 surprised me because the storyline is fun and not boring because there is comedy in it. In the first film, I think Venom is still stuck with the superhero movie concept that we all know.

Andy Serkis as director and Kelly Marcel as scriptwriter seems to know very well what they will make with Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage. They know that Venom with Eddie Brock is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Humans and aliens forced to live in the same body is definitely a source of good comedy. They focus on the comedic aspect so that throughout the film it makes us laugh because of the cuteness of Edi Brock and Venom Yang who often fight. Seeing Brock who had given up and had to serve Venom who behaved like a child was one of the entertainments in itself.

The main plot itself is like any standard superhero movie. Carnage is pretty convincing as a villain even though we know that Venom will beat him easily. But what really keeps my focus on the screen is the dynamic relationship between Venom and Brock. In the middle of the film, they split up. And like a good friendship movie, the breakup between Venom and Brock produces drama and comedy that is quite interesting to watch.

Tom Hardy in his second appearance as Brock/Venom is much more comfortable in Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage. Maybe because this time he was creatively involved (Tom Hardy co-developed the story with Marcel). This time he showed the audience that he could be really funny if he wanted to. The jokes in Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage are abundant and Tom Hardy sells them with gusto. Many of Brock's comedies are funny, especially when he meets Anne for the first time. Hardy can be funny as well as show a tinge of sadness in his eyes.

With an exciting battle this time, it's visually more pleasing to the eye than the chaos in the dark first film. Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage turned out to be successful in doing what was thought to be impossible. It provides something new that finally makes Venom a series that is worth waiting for. Especially with funny scenes that make you curious, Venom and Brock's action becomes a film that can't be missed.
