Andy Serkis Beber Differences Alfred The Batman Compared to Other Versions The Renewal Fund that should have been used to finance the lives of poor people like Edward was actually being misused by the Gotham elite. One of them was Carmine Falcone, who took over the management of the money after Thomas Wayne's death.

Carmine Falcone is one of the Riddler's most important assassination targets. Because, he is considered to be the most corrupt and greedy person in Gotham for trapping the drug business Salvatore Maroni so that he can become the most powerful mafia. Riddler also reveals that the last victim in his assassination plan is Bruce Wayne.

That's because people forgot about the Renewal program and only paid attention to Bruce Wayne, the poor rich kid who lost his parents. Meanwhile, other orphans continue to suffer. The culmination of the Riddler's plan was to bomb the canals in Gotham to drown the city in a flood. Thus, the government was "forced" to make changes and make real updates. The Batman ending also provides a number of clues regarding the future of Gotham's villains. One of them, the scene of the Riddler imprisoned at Arkham Asylum. He was in a cell next door to another criminal.

The "friend" next to the Riddler's cell spoke to him and gave him a riddle that read: "The less you have, the more it means." The Riddler, who is a puzzler, then replies, "friends" and ends with the two of them being the same... same laugh. Not only that, other criminals also seem to be preparing to occupy the seat of the ruler of Gotham. That figure was none other than The Penguin, who saw the power vacuum after Carmine Falcone's death. HBO Max has confirmed the production of this series some time ago.

The last scene of The Batman shows Batman meeting Catwoman who is preparing to leave Gotham. Catwoman invites Batman to come with her to leave the corrupt city. However, she learns that Batman will definitely refuse after seeing the Bat-signal's spotlight in the sky. After a series of Riddler hunts, Batman who was originally known as a symbol of revenge is now considered a hope.

The bat-signal becomes a metaphor that describes how the people of Gotham still need Batman. Batman and Catwoman then split in different directions. Catwoman left Gotham, while Batman returned to being the Caped Crusader. The Batman also presents an unusual post-credit scene. The scene only shows a black screen containing the Riddler's last message which reads 'Goodbye' with a question mark. But before the screen went black, an image flashed briefly.
