Ms. Marvel The First Muslim Superhero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Air June 8, 2022

The first Muslim superhero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be coming to the small screen in the near future. This was seen after Marvel Studios and Disney Plus released the trailer for the Ms. Marvel. The trailer introduces Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, a Pakistani-American teenager living in New Jersey and also a fan of Captain Marvel.


Ms. Trailers Marvel begins with the song Blinding Lights The Weeknd as Kamala's background is in the high school tutoring concert hall. At school, the teenager is considered a nerd. However, at some point he gains strange cosmic powers, such as being able to launch energy blasts to create glowing stepping stones to walk through the air.

The trailer also shows Kamala's daily life, such as prayers and events that are thick with her family's culture. The character of Kamala Khan was first introduced by Marvel Comics in 2013. Now, the character has a series that is also filled with other new faces, such as Saagar Shaikh who plays Amir, Kamala's older brother.

Ms. Marvel also stars Mohan Kapur (Crime Next Door) and Zenobia Shroff (The Big Sick) as her parents, Muneeba and Yusuf. Then Matt Lintz (The Walking Dead) as Kamala's best friend, Bruno, and Aramis Knight (Into the Badlands_ as Red Dagger who often plays vigilante).

Ms. Marvel is directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (Saving Face), Meera Menon (For All Mankind), and Adil El Arbi and Billal Fallah (Bad Boys for Live). Meanwhile, Bisha K. Ali (Four Weddings and a Funeral) served as executive producer and lead writer. Marvel initially announced Ms. Marvel will premiere at the end of 2021. However, that has changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has changed the schedule of many other Marvel films and series. So, Ms. Marvel then shifted to mid-2022, and got closer to The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel which also featured Vellani alongside Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel has six episodes and starts airing June 8.


Getting to know Kamala Khan Who plays Ms. Marvel



The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) recently introduced Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel in the first trailer for the Ms. Marvel. The trailer features Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager living in New Jersey. He is a fan of Captain Marvel who later became a superhero after getting cosmic powers.

Kamala Khan's character first appeared in Captain Marvel #14 which was released in July 2013. She later appeared as Ms. Marvel in the All-New Marvel Comics NOW! Point One #1 was released in January 2014. Kamala Khan is told as the second child of a Pakistani couple, Yusuh Khan and Muneeba Khan. He along with his parents and older brother, Aamir Khan, moved to the United States from Karachi, Pakistan.

As an immigrant, Kamala always felt different and was often ridiculed by her friends for her geeky nature and rigid parents. But on the other hand, he also has an escape because he likes playing video games, social media, and is crazy about superheroes. He is a huge fan of Carol Danvers, former Ms. Marvel who has now become Captain Marvel. One night, a gloomy Kamala was suddenly shrouded in a Terrigen mist and made her half conscious. He saw the shadows of his three favorite superheroes, Captain America, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel.

The superheroes then asked what Kamala wanted in life. Kamala replied that she wanted to be like Captain Marvel. Terrigen's shadow and mist then dissipate, and Kamala is shocked to learn that she actually has cosmic powers like Carol Danvers.

Having a hard time controlling his powers, Kamala finally finds out that he has cosmic powers and can change his body into any form. In the comic version, Kamala is a human who inherited the power of the Inhuman species. The power was activated by the Terrigen Bomb, causing him to have a certain amount of power. It can extend its limbs up to its neck for great distances. Kamala is also able to change height, from as small as a toy to as tall as a building.

Not only that, he is able to heal wounds quickly because of his ability. Kamala Khan also faced a number of villains in the MCU universe, one of which was The Inventor. He is a scientist named Gregory Knox who wants to clone scientist Thomas Alva Edison. The experiment failed and Knox instead created a genetically modified crocodile and terrorized the city. Kamala then faces the monsters and troops created by The Inventor. However, it is not yet known whether Ms. Marvel will feature The Inventor as the main villain or even feature other characters from the MCU universe.
