Spider-Man: No Way Home Movie Review The most anticipated superhero film of 2021

You will definitely agree that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the most anticipated superhero film of 2021. The third Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will be released in the United States on December 17, 2021. Luckily, Indonesia has a bigger schedule. fast, i.e. December 15, 2021


How is it not the most anticipated? The Spider-Man: Bez domova (2021) project has even managed to create a lot of excitement since 2019. Starting from Spider-Man who had left the MCU due to Sony Pictures and Disney contract problems, to the use of the multiverse in the story. Coupled with various theories and rumors that make the No Way Home hype even more intense.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set right after the events at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), when Mysterio reveals Spider-Man's true identity. Peter Parker then asks Doctor Strange to help everyone forget that Peter is Spider-Man. However, Peter disrupts Doctor Strange's spell, opening the multiverse and bringing in five villains from other universes.

When Peter was first introduced to the MCU through Captain America: Civil War (2016), the character appeared so childish. In fact, his childish nature is still seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Far From Home. But in No Way Home, you will see another side of Peter that you have never seen in the MCU films before.

The problems that Peter faces in No Way Home are definitely much tougher than the previous two Spider-Man films. Accustomed to facing one villain in his first two films, now Peter is facing five villains at once in No Way Home even from different universes! Plus, Peter is faced with another bittersweet problem that completely changes his life.

No Way Home showcases Peter's dark side. We can see how Peter is when filled with anger and revenge. It is at this moment that we are made aware that Peter has started to enter his adult life. No Way Home seems to be a message that there is no more childish Peter in the next appearance in the MCU.

The concept of the multiverse was actually first introduced in the MCU through the Loki series. However, the MCU multiverse has just been lifted to the big screen through No Way Home. Because Peter interfered with Doctor Strange while casting a spell, a row of villains from other universes came to the MCU, including Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, and Lizard.

It took Marvel Studios 13 years to bring the multiverse concept to the big screen. No Way Home is proof that the MCU is ready to venture into other universes. You see, the multiverse moments shown in No Way Home really feel flowing and not something that looks forced just to achieve the multiverse concept in the MCU.

The Multiverse clearly opens up all the possibilities that can happen in the MCU. That's why, you'll find a lot of surprising things in No Way Home. This film is likened to a package full of euphoria. All parts of No Way Home are guaranteed to keep you hype, from the beginning of the film to the second post credit scene.

As explained in the first point, No Way Home features another side of Peter that has never been shown in the MCU films before. Tom Holland as Spider-Man is clearly getting a new challenge to show the dark side of Peter in No Way Home.

Without a doubt, Holland really proved that he's not just a master at portraying a childish Peter and can be more than that. For those who have watched, you will agree that Holland's acting in No Way Home is the best of all his appearances in the MCU.

But of all the actors who appeared in No Way Home, the Green Goblin actor, namely Willem Dafoe, was arguably the most prominent. After 19 years have passed since his appearance as the Green Goblin in the first film Spider-Man (2002), Dafoe has not lost his charisma as a villain at all.

The Green Goblin character seems so attached and only belongs to Dafoe. The actor managed to appear so intimidating as the Green Goblin, as well as appear so innocent as Norman Osborn. Dafoe doesn't seem to have any trouble changing personalities in one film.

For those who like action-packed superhero films, we guarantee that you will be spoiled with No Way Home. Of the three Spider-Man films in the MCU, No Way Home has the most fight scenes. The types of battles also vary, ranging from long-range combat, close range, to one-on-one combat.

Through No Way Home, we finally get to see a Peter through a fight that is so brutal and intense. The physical battle that Peter went through in No Way Home was practically no joke. You can't find hitting and slamming each other in this film at all in the two Spider-Man films
