Bound With The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Elizabeth Olsen Loses A Variety Of Roles
Elizabeth Olsen says she has lost various role offers because she is under contract with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In fact, she felt the offers that came more suited her as an actress.
"It [a contract with the MCU] took me away from my physical abilities to do certain jobs that I thought were more in tune with the things I enjoy as a viewer," Elizabeth Olsen told The New York Times, quoted by Variety on Wednesday (11/11). /5).
One of the acting offers he missed was for the film The Lobster, which was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. In 2015, Olsen was heartbroken to lose the opportunity because he was under contract with the MCU.
"I was starting to feel frustrated. I had security at work but I was missing something that I felt was more like a part of my being," she said. "The more I stay away from it, the less I'm considered," Olsen added.
Elizabeth Olsen has now starred in six films and one MCU series. She started her career in the MCU when she made a cameo appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Wanda Maximoff.

Later, he started getting more roles when he played in Captain America: Civil War. Olsen went on to appear in two Avengers films, Infinity War and Endgame, most recently Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
In addition, Elizabeth Olsen starred alongside Paul Bettany for a series centered on the two characters they play, WandaVision.
From the series, the character Wanda Maximoff that she played has developed into Scarlet Witch. The character is also a central character in the film Doctor Strange 2.
Because starring in the WandaVision series as the main character, Olsen admits that he is now more comfortable with the MCU. In fact, he is very open if the Scarlet Witch character will be made into his own feature film.
"I thought I would [for the feature film Scarlet Witch," Olsen said.
"It really has to have a good story. I think these films become good when they don't just create content but have a strong point of view - not because you have a three-film plan."
