Jackie Chan's Fighting Action Became the Inspiration for Bullet Train Movie
Jackie Chan's name is already familiar in the world of Asian cinema and Hollywood. His name has appeared in a number of action and comedy films, and nowadays, he seems to have become a source of inspiration for other directors. While Chan may not be part of the "Bullet Train" cast that stars many big names, director David Leitch reveals the Chinese superstar has inspired the fight choreography of the high-octane action comedy.
In this new film from co-director "John Wick" and director "Atomic Blonde", hitman Ladybug (Brad Pitt) rides a high-speed train full of trained assassins. In an interview with Empire Online, Leitch credited Chan's iconic style of stunt action and slapstick humor as an influence on the light touch of "Bullet Train" hard action. "You hear the title Bullet Train and it makes you think it's a hard action movie," he explained. "But it's actually a really fun action-comedy thriller."

He added that Jackie Chan's classic fight scenes have inspired a bit of physical comedy in the fights on top of a speeding train. "The combat is designed to improve the character. We are here to have fun in this super-filled space," he explained. Sony Pictures describes the original film events as a fun action thriller from the acclaimed action director. Academy Award winner Pitt ("Once Upon a Time in Hollywood") takes the lead in leading the assassins.
The film takes the backdrop of a relentless journey through modern Japan. Led by Pitt, the line-up includes Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Karen Fukuhara. “Bullet Train” is scheduled to hit theaters on July 29.
Bryce Dallas Howard's experience shooting Jurassic World: Dominion
"Jurassic World: Dominion" star Bryce Dallas Howard recently shared his experience shooting for the film. Bryce himself was a huge fan of the original "Jurassic Park," so it's no surprise that being able to work with the cast of the 1993 film felt so out of place for him.
"Jurassic World: Dominion" will hit theaters on June 10. Howard will return to star in the film alongside co-star Chris Pratt, as a team-mate with original "Jurassic Park" actors Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill. Howard told People he remembers seeing the original in theaters at the age of 12, describing it as an unforgettable two hours. He said that the film had a big impact on him.

“I was very affected by watching the film,” the actress shared. "The fact that we've gotten to a point where we're working with these characters that you're obsessed with as a kid is important." The filming took place in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. He continued that the cast became "very close in no time thanks to their life situations.
"There's a hotel seven minutes from the set," Howard added. "And, for five months, we all lived in this hotel together." Being able to spend time with the cast, for Howard it was an amazing experience. "We felt so lucky because we were together, and we were part of the bubble, and we were able to eat together, sing together and celebrate together," he recalls.

The players, he said, had succeeded in building closeness with each other. Which, it took away the awkward feeling when they were filming. "I would be really intimidated and embarrassed if we didn't live together like that."
"He connects people, he wants to bring joy to every scenario," said Howard, also speaking of Dern reprising his role in the franchise. "So, because of that, we all became very attached very quickly."
